Super Stable

Super Stable is suitable for all machine embroidery projects. Ironing it on secures the fabric, allowing it to be embroidered together with the Super Stable material without slipping. This is a tear-away, iron-on stabilizer, ideal for applications such as embroidered designs on heavy or stretchy fabrics.

Ideal for:

- embroidery on heavy and stretchy fabrics

- embroidery designs with high stitch counts and heavy stitch density

- patchwork

- stabilizing fabrics for bags or backpacks

- fabric books, wall art, and decorations

Instructions for using Super Stable:

Machine embroidery: Super Stable stabilizes stretchy fabrics during the embroidery process. Cut the required length from the Super Stable roll. Place the stabilizer with the adhesive side facing the back of the fabric. Iron Super Stable onto the fabric, adjusting the iron temperature to suit the fabric (do not exceed the two-dot setting). Ironing time depends on the fabric; the adhesive bond begins to form after approximately 10–15 seconds. Secure the fabric and stabilizer firmly in the embroidery hoop, with the fabric facing upwards. After embroidery, trim away the excess stabilizer from around the design—hold the stabilizer while cutting, not the fabric itself.

Machine appliqué: Super Stable secures the fabric and improves fabric feed, resulting in a more even appliqué. Iron Super Stable onto the back of the fabric to be used for the appliqué, following the instructions above. After application, loosen and trim away the excess stabilizer, holding the stabilizer itself rather than the fabric.

Buttonholes: Super Stable makes it easy to create buttonholes in stretchy fabrics. Iron Super Stable onto the fabric as described above, sew the buttonholes, and then carefully tear away the excess Super Stable material.

Bags and textile decorations: Super Stable can also be used to reinforce bags and backpacks, as well as decorative textile items such as scarves or fabric-covered books. To do this, iron Super Stable onto the back of the fabric piece as described above.
