Juki coverstitch machines

A Juki coverstitch machine is designed for hemming, finishing the bottom edges of T-shirts, and completing garment edges. It creates stitches that are entirely different from those produced by an overlock machine; notably, it is the only type of machine capable of producing the coverstitch. From the front, this stitch appears as two or three parallel straight lines, while the back of the fabric is covered with dense stitching—hence the name "coverstitch." Additionally, coverstitch machines can create chain stitches. However, unlike a standard sewing machine, they cannot sew a simple straight seam, so you will still need a regular sewing machine at home alongside your coverstitch machine.
