Husqvarna Viking coverstitch machines

The Husqvarna Viking coverstitch machine is designed for hemming, finishing T-shirt hems, and edge-finishing garments. Coverstitch machines create stitches that differ entirely from those produced by overlockers; notably, they are the only type of machine capable of creating the coverstitch (or "lingerie stitch"). From the front, this stitch resembles two or three parallel straight stitches, while the back of the fabric is covered with dense stitching—hence the name "coverstitch." Additionally, coverstitch machines can create chain stitches. However, unlike a standard sewing machine, they cannot sew a simple straight seam; therefore, you will still need a regular sewing machine at home alongside your coverstitch machine.
