Leader coverstitch machines

Coverlock Leader is a machine designed for hemming, finishing the bottom edges of T-shirts, and completing garment edges. Coverlock machines create stitches that are entirely different from those produced by overlockers; notably, they are the only type of machine capable of creating the cover stitch. From the front, this stitch appears as two or three parallel straight lines, while the back of the fabric is covered with dense stitching—hence the name "cover stitch." Additionally, coverlock machines can create chain stitches. However, unlike a standard sewing machine, they cannot sew a simple straight seam; therefore, you will still need a regular sewing machine at home alongside your coverlock.
