Merrylock coverstitch machines
The Merrylock coverstitch machine is designed for hemming, finishing the bottom edges of T-shirts, and general garment finishing. Coverstitch machines create stitches that differ significantly from those produced by overlockers; notably, they are the only type of machine capable of creating the coverstitch. From the front, this stitch resembles two or three parallel straight stitches, while the back of the fabric is covered with dense stitching—hence the name "coverstitch." Additionally, coverstitch machines can create chain stitches. However, unlike a standard sewing machine, they cannot sew a simple straight seam; therefore, you will still need a regular sewing machine at home alongside your coverstitch machine.
