Starter set of backing materials and threads for PR embroidery machines

• 144 pre-wound bobbins (composition: 100% polyester; the thin, knot-free thread is ideal for embroidery)
• 30 spools of GUNOLD Sulky embroidery thread, 1000 meters each (thread weight: 120D/2; cone length: 1000 m; material: 100% viscose)

Embroidery backing materials:

• 1 m x 80 cm non-woven backing material, 70 g/m², white
• 1 m x 80 cm non-woven backing material, 70 g/m², black

Backing materials are used to reinforce the base fabric. They make the embroidered design stand out more clearly and prevent the fabric from tearing or becoming perforated by needle punctures, especially with very delicate materials.

• 1 m x 1 m tear-away backing material, 40 g/m², white
  

Functions similarly to non-woven backing but can be torn away from the finished embroidery, allowing for a cleaner, easier finish on the underside of the fabric.

• 1 m x 1 m iron-on tear-away backing material, 40 g/m², white
• 1 m x 1 m iron-on tear-away backing material, 40 g/m², black

Features a shiny side that is placed against the fabric and ironed on. Suitable for stretchy materials (such as T-shirts) as it stabilizes the fabric during embroidery.

• 1 m x 1 m Aquina water-soluble embroidery film, 25µ

For embroidery on fabrics with a pile (e.g., terry towels); used as a top-side stabilizer. The film presses down the material's pile during embroidery, ensuring the terry loops are neatly covered by the stitching and do not poke through. Once embroidery is complete, the film is torn away; any tiny remaining traces can simply be removed by steaming with an iron or washing.
