Cotton Stable

Cotton Stable is an iron-on, tear-off embroidery nonwoven. By ironing, the fabric is fixed and can be embroidered on it together with Cotton Stable, which ensures that it does not slip. The iron-on layer has only a weak adhesive force. Therefore, Cotton Stable can be removed without residue.

Instructions for using Cotton Stable:

Machine embroidery: Cotton Stable stabilizes stretch fabrics during the embroidery process. Cut the Cotton Stable from the roll to the desired length. Place the fabric with the adhesive layer on the back of the fabric. Iron the fabric onto the fabric with a regular iron, adjusting the iron temperature to the fabric, but not higher than two points. The ironing time depends on the fabric, the adhesive effect begins after about 5 to 20 seconds. Secure the fabric with the fabric firmly in the embroidery frame - the fabric is on top. After embroidering, carefully tear off the excess fabric.

Machine applications: Cotton Stable fixes the fabric and improves its transport. This makes the application more even. Iron Cotton Stable as described above to the back of the fabric to which it is to be applied. After application, carefully tear off the excess fabric.

Computer printing: Light fabrics can be printed with Cotton Stable just like paper with a regular inkjet printer. For this purpose, you must first cut the Cotton Stable and the fabric to DIN A4 size. Then iron Cotton Stable as described above to the back of the fabric. After printing, pull the Cotton Stable away from the fabric.  Caution! Printing on fabric is not waterproof.

Buttonholes: Cotton Stable makes it easy to create buttonholes in stretch fabrics. Iron the Cotton Stable onto the fabric as described above. Sew the buttonholes and then carefully tear off the excess fabric.
