Cotton Fix is ideal for machine embroidery because it allows you to secure the fabric without having to stretch it in an embroidery hoop. This prevents the embroidery hoop from leaving marks on the fabric. Cotton Fix is also great for patchwork because you can arrange and secure small pieces of fabric as you like. Tip: Store Cotton Fix in the refrigerator - this optimizes the processing properties. The film is tear-off-friendly, self-adhesive and secures the fabric without an embroidery hoop.

Instructions for using Cotton Fix:
Machine embroidery: Cut the desired length from the Cotton Fix roll and attach the protective film to the top of the embroidery hoop. Carefully cut a diagonal cross in the middle of the protective foil with the tip of the scissors. Attention - cut the protective foil, not the fabric. Remove the protective foil slightly larger than the motif to be embroidered. Place the fabric on the loose adhesive surface and press firmly. After embroidering, carefully release the fabric from the fabric - the embroidery will tear itself off the fabric.
Quilting: Quilting patterns that only consist of outlines (e.g. hearts or circles) can be transferred to the quilt very easily using Cotton Fix. Draw the quilting motif with a pencil on the textile side. Cut out the outline along the motif, peel off the protective foil and stick the motif to the fabric. Quilt along the inside of the motif. After quilting, remove the Cotton Fix.
Hand appliqué: Transfer the appliqué motif with the right side to the textile side of the Cotton Fix and cut out precisely. Remove the protective film and stick the motif to the right side of the fabric. Cut out the motif with a seam allowance of about 5 mm and sew it to the fabric with small hemming stitches, so that the seam allowance gradually folds under the appliqué as you sew. After applying Cotton Fix, pull it away from the fabric.
