    A lightweight, 5-layer patchwork cutting mat suitable for cutting even thicker materials that require greater pressure. It features a self-healing surface that closes up after a cut is made. The mat is designed primarily for cutting fabric with rotary cutters, though it is also compatible with craft knives. It features a precise measuring grid designed for both right- and left-handed users. Thanks to its surface quality and 3 mm thickness, the mat is highly durable and helps keep your cutter blade sharp for longer. One side features a metric grid (60 x 45 cm), while the other has an imperial grid (22 x 16 inches). When used with a rotary cutter and a ruler, you can easily, quickly, and accurately cut strips and other shapes. Please note that while metric measurements are often easier to read—and preferable if you are using patterns from Czech sources—most international patterns use inches. This mat will prove to be an invaluable tool.

     

    Manufacturer's Note: This mat is intended for use only with rotary cutters and craft knives. Other cutters with fixed blades may cause tears or cracks in the mat. Do not roll up the mat; keep it on a firm, flat surface. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, heat sources, or high temperatures, as these can cause warping and reduce the product's lifespan. Avoid repeated cutting in the exact same spot, as this can cut through the mat and lead to tears or cracks at the cut site. The minimal pressure applied during cutting reduces wear and extends the product's service life.
