The Teflon presser foot glides easily over materials; it is made of a material that prevents the fabric from sticking or bunching up. It is therefore suitable for materials that tend to adhere to the underside of the presser foot (such as leather, delicate fabrics, plastic, faux leather, or foam). The presser foot is made of white plastic.
