Roller foot

This presser foot creates a fine rolled hem on lightweight fabrics. It features a scroll-shaped guide at the top and a straight groove at the bottom, which determine the width of the finished hem.

Instructions for use:

1. Select a straight stitch and attach the presser foot. If desired, you can press just the beginning of the hem to a width of 2, 3, or 4 mm, depending on the foot size. Insert the fabric edge into the groove under the foot and sew a few stitches. Lower the needle into the fabric to hold it in place. Then, lift the presser foot and feed the fabric edge into the scroll guide on the foot. Lower the foot and continue sewing, while guiding the raw edge into the foot.

2. Do not let the fabric pass under the right half of the presser foot.

3. If needle marks are visible on the right side of the fabric, adjust the position of the red guide using the screw on the right side of the foot. This foot is not suitable for sewing tight curves.
