The Pfaff overlock gathering foot is an optional accessory that can be purchased for the Pfaff Hobbylock 2.0 overlock. The foot is used for gathering thin or medium-thick fabrics. The foot can be used to gather one fabric and sew it onto another, e.g. to gather gathered skirts.

Preparing the machine when using the Pfaff overlock gathering foot:

Needle: Left or right, or left and right at the same time

Stitch type: 3 or 4-thread overlock

Stitch length: 3 - 5 mm

Differential feed: Gathering position

Upper knife: Working position

1. Place two fabrics under the foot with the separating plate between the lower and upper fabric.

2. Sew 2 - 3 stitches.

3. While sewing, hold the upper and lower fabrics separately and guide them lightly.
