This special foot is used to sew narrow elastic (1/4 - 1/2 ", 6 - 12 mm) onto fabric. In one step, the fabric is trimmed, stitched and gathered with the sewn elastic. Suitable for sewing sportswear or underwear, etc.

Setting: to position "N"
Needles:
Overlock: use 1 or 2 needles, depending on the width of the elastic
Coverlock stitch: use 1, 2 or 3 needles, depending on the width of the elastic
Thread tension: standard setting
Stitch length: N to 4
Loosen screw 2 so that the stopper 1 in the hole 4 is opened to 1.5 to 2 mm.
Loosen screw 5 for feed 6.
Insert the elastic 3 and guide it to the back under foot.
Adjust 6 to the edge of the tape and tighten 5.
Tighten the stopper with the screw again. The more the screw is tightened, the stronger the pressure of the stopper on the rubber and the greater the gathering effect.
