This foot guides the stitch perfectly when sewing fabrics. The design of the foot helps you keep the seam from the edge the same throughout the product. The presser foot guide is located 15 mm from the center of the needle, which is the most common seam allowance for most garments. There are 4 additional marks on the foot for different seam allowances.
Instructions for use:
1. Attach the IDT™SYSTEM seam guide foot.
2. Turn on the IDT™SYSTEM.
3. Select a straight stitch.
4. Place the fabrics right sides together for stitching.
5. Place the fabrics under the foot with the edge against the 15 mm metal guide.
6. Start sewing. The edge of the fabric will follow the guide and the seam will be sewn with a perfectly straight overlap.
7. For narrower seam allowances, use one of the four red marks.
