Instructions for use:
1. Set the grey dial with numbers on the foot opposite the small metal arrow. The higher the number, the tighter the elastic will be. The stiffness of the elastic also affects the result.
2. Lightly press the grey roller towards the number button and lift it up.
3. Slide the elastic into the longer hole in the base of the foot.
4. Turn the roller until the central groove of the roller matches the width of the elastic and the elastic runs straight.
5. Return the roller down onto the elastic and click it into place by pressing it lightly away from the number button.
6. Attach the elastic suction foot. Set the machine to a regular serging stitch. Adjust the width according to the width of the elastic and the length according to the type of elastic and the degree of gathering you want to achieve.
7. Turn on the IDT™ system.
8. Place the fabric under the foot and sew. The elastic will stretch and sew to the fabric at the same time.
