Pfaff 620117996 gathering foot

The Pfaff coverlock gathering foot is an optional accessory that can be purchased for the Pfaff 3.0 and 4.0 coverlocks. This special foot is designed to sew two pieces of fabric together and gather the bottom layer in one step.

Machine preparation:

Differential

Setting: 2

Needle: 2 or 1 (recommended 2)

Upper knife: activated

Stitch length: 3 to 4

Raise the presser foot.

Set the needle to its highest position.

Place the bottom layer of fabric between the stitch plate and the gathering foot and place it against the upper knife.

Place the second top layer of fabric in slot 3 (right sides together) and place it against the stop 4.

Lower the foot.

First, do a test stitch.
