Pfaff 620117696 Ribbon and tape sewing foot

The Pfaff Coverlock Ribbon Foot is an optional accessory that can be purchased for Pfaff Coverlocks 3.0 and 4.0. This special foot is used for sewing ribbon onto stretch fabrics (knits) to effectively prevent them from pulling out.

Preparing the machine:

Setting: to position "N"

Needles: use 1 or 2 needles depending on the width of the ribbon

Stitch length: N

Thread tension: standard setting

Set the needle to its highest position

Deactivate the upper knife

Lift the foot and place the ribbon against the guide 1 on the right

Move the ribbon to the right stop using the slider 2

Adjust the position of the ribbon with respect to the needle by turning the adjustment screw 3

Place the fabric under the foot and sew a test stitch
