The Pfaff 1/4" patchwork foot is an optional accessory available for purchase for Pfaff sewing machines. This foot is used for easy and precise piecing of fabric for patchwork projects. The distance from the needle to the outer edge of the foot is 1/4 inch (6.3 mm), and the distance from the needle to the inner edge is 1/8 inch (3.15 mm). It is suitable for sewing through thick layers.

Using the Pfaff 1/4" patchwork foot:

1. Attach the 1/4" patchwork foot.
2. Engage the IDT system if your machine is equipped with it.
3. Sew the fabrics together using a straight stitch.
4. When using a 1/4" seam allowance, guide the fabric along the outer edge of the foot. When using a 1/8" seam allowance, guide the fabric along the inner edge of the presser foot.
