Preparing the machine for use with the foot:
- Set the machine for linen or chainstitch.
- Draw a line on the fabric where the seam will go with a water-removable marker.
- Attach the clear linen stitch foot.
- Use the default stitch settings. You can change the settings if you want. Place the fabric under the presser foot and needles. Start sewing into the fabric, first without going into the chain.
- Guide the fabric with the red mark in the middle of the foot along the seam line. The clear foot makes it very easy to see the line and guide the fabric.
