Instructions for use:
- Set the overlock machine to the desired stitch.
- Attach the presser foot.
- Insert the bottom layer of fabric (the fabric to be sewn) between the stitch plate and the cutter, right side up.
- Insert the top layer of fabric into the opening of the presser foot and align it with the bottom layer, right side down.
- Lower the presser foot and sew. Guide the fabric against the fabric guide and allow the bottom layer to feed freely so that it gathers.
Tips for increasing the fullness of the gathers:
- Increase thread tension
- Set the differential feed to a higher number
- Increase the stitch length
A single layer of fabric can also be gathered by placing it under the presser foot and adjusting the stitch length, differential feed, and needle tension to achieve the desired fullness.
