Darning foot:
- embroidery foot, designed for free-motion embroidery and darning

Instructions for using the foot:
1. Move the needle to the highest position.
2. Attach the darning foot. Grasp the foot with your thumb and forefinger and push it as far as possible into the hole at the back of the presser foot holder.
3. The "C" guide should be around the foot bar. The long arm must be behind the needle clamp. Tighten the screw.
4. Engage the feed dogs.
5. If desired, you can frame the product in a round embroidery hoop for added stability.
6. Select straight stitch and activate free motion or move the presser foot to the darning/free motion position.
7. Pull out the bobbin thread and sew a few securing stitches. Cut the thread ends as close to the fabric as possible and continue sewing.
8. Remember that when sewing free motion, you control the stitch length with the speed of the movement. A steady, medium to high speed will produce the same length of straight stitches. Sewing too slowly can cause small knots to form on the underside of your product.
