    Patchwork cutting mat. The highest-quality cutting mat on the market. It features a self-healing surface that closes up after a cut is made. Designed primarily for use with rotary cutters, it is also suitable for craft knives (scalpels). It features a precise measuring grid designed for both right- and left-handed users. Beyond its special self-healing surface, the mat is constructed from multiple layers—unlike standard blue mats—preventing it from warping. Thanks to this construction and its 3 mm thickness, you can use a craft knife without slicing through the mat, as often happens with blue mats; this also helps keep your blade razor-sharp for longer. One side features a metric grid (1000 x 2000 x 3 mm), while the other displays an imperial grid (39" x 79"). When used with a rotary cutter and a ruler, it allows you to cut strips and other shapes quickly, easily, and precisely.

    Please note that while metric measurements (cm) are often clearer—and preferable when working from Czech or Slovak patterns—many international projects use imperial measurements (inches). Unlike others, our mat features an imperial grid on one side and a metric grid on the other, making it an invaluable tool for your projects.
