Supplier's view: Working with cotton canvas went very well. When marking the cuts with tailor's chalk, the material was easy to spread. Cutting and sewing went smoothly. This fabric is suitable for sewing beginners, it does not slip when sewing. We used a universal needle size 70 for sewing. The edges were slightly frayed, so it is advisable to clean them with an overlock. Before cutting and sewing, it is necessary to count on shrinkage and pre-precipitate the material. We tried washing at the temperature recommended by the supplier, and darker and more pronounced shades tend to bleed. A small disadvantage is that products made of cotton fabric wrinkle, but the fabric is easy to iron. Every beginning seamstress should try working with canvas and not sew from materials that are more difficult to work with and require some experience (e.g. silk, satin, knitwear...).
BEFORE SEWING, IT IS NECESSARY TO PRECREASE THE FABRIC WITHOUT CHEMICALS. DO NOT WASH, JUST SOAK IN HOT WATER.
