Calibration strip for SDX

When cutting with an intermediate pad and an automatic knife, we recommend using a calibration strip. The calibration strip covers the points that the cutting knife detects and thus balances the automatic knife height adjustment.

Instructions for use:

Remove the protective paper from the calibration strip and stick it with the adhesive surface to the upper part of the pad (the pad where the protective intermediate pad is also glued), align it to the width of the intermediate pad so that it also covers the upper ruler and connects to the intermediate pad (see picture). The calibration strip must not be glued to the edge of the pad and must not interfere with the travel rollers.

Warning:

Always use the calibration strip only with a substrate on which you have attached the intermediate substrate! Otherwise, the attached material will not be cut correctly. If you do not attach the calibration strip correctly, the substrate may be damaged. We recommend adjusting the Cut pressure. When cutting taller material, raise the scanner lever on the left side of the plotter to a higher position.
