Product detailed description
The buttonhole cutter with wooden block is the ideal tool for cutting through finished buttonholes. The wooden block is placed under the buttonhole and the chisel is pressed against the block from above. Only light pressure is needed to cut through the fabric.
The knife attached to the chisel is placed lengthwise in the middle between the sides of the buttonhole and cuts directly on the wooden pad placed under the fabric.
Thanks to the precise design, the blade cuts through the buttonhole cleanly and precisely, without damaging the sides and closures. This prevents unsightly fraying of the buttonholes on coats and other garments.
