We recommend screwing the press to a solid base. The height of the press does not need to be adjusted, it is already ready for buttoning. It is pressed by pulling the larger handle towards you.
Procedure:
- Cut a square or circle of suitable fabric slightly larger than the button. Insert the fabric and button into part A of the piston, and insert the plastic or metal part of the button into the other part B.
- Fold both parts together and place them under the press so that part A is on top.
- Pull the lever together and press both parts together.
- Separate both parts of the piston and remove the button.
