The pedal has three functions:
- standard machine speed control via the larger pedal
- a heel-tap function on the main pedal that can be programmed
- a smaller pedal configurable for the following functions: single-stitch sewing, reverse sewing, thread cutting, needle up/down positioning, and presser foot lift
