Since it is designed for straight stitching, the Patchwork Foot No. 37 / 37D is ideal for sewing 1/4" or 1/8" (approx. 3 or 6 mm) seam allowances. In addition, the Patchwork Foot No. 37D is equipped with three evenly spaced marks (in addition to the 1/4") on the sides, which make it easier to sew squares into the patchwork. The narrow groove under the flat of the foot serves as a thread channel for smoother stitching. A large sewing table or cabinet makes it easier to assemble the quilt and increases precision, improving your patchwork.
